Well, I did what I’d said I’d never do, go out shopping on Black Friday! They mostly had moderate deals, but I still saved about 25% on the stuff I bought. They had a pretty good deal on Hornady V-Max ammo for my .22 WMR. Yeah, I know .17 HMR is the popular choice now-a-days, but .22 WMR ammo can be used for critters larger than the ones recommended for .17 HMR. Been thinking that a .17 HMR gun should be added to the wishlist, but I’m still up in the air on that one. It would be nice to try one out. Then again maybe it’s overkill, after all, I’ve already got a .22 WMR and 2 .22s.

Hope all you U.S. visitors had a good Turkey Day; I went out to eat, and still overate, to the tune of 5 extra pounds on the scale this morning.
